A Leisurely Evening Discussing Unsolved Disappearances with Lex Mooney

Ever heard of Missing 411? We hadn’t—that is, until friend-of-the-show Alexis Mooney ruined our night with five tales of mystery, disappearance, and the occasional preventable death.

We don’t want to spoil this treat for you, but suffice to say Lex’s special interest is digging into the particulars of cases like those found in David Paulides’ Missing 411. And while Mr. Paulides is probably not the most, ah, empirically sound vessel for stories like this, he did a hell of a job collecting some of the most lie-awake-at-night-wondering cases we’d ever heard.

CWs for implied child death, mental health, amnesia, and an overwhelming amount of confusion. Not to mention the many, many failures of law enforcement.

Thank you, Lex, for fueling our nightmares. Looking forward to having you back on the show!

CORRECTION TO EPISODE: Lex would like the world to know that the man from the final story was wearing a marathon shirt from Wisconsin, not the Boston Marathon.
