Cam (2018): A Guide on How Not to Be a Cam Girl

I’m going to keep this short and sweet: At the moment of writing this, Olivia is getting married tomorrow and I’m in Boston to celebrate! We figured we’d give you all a fun spooky movie review to get into the spirit of things while you wait for my heavy hitter - plus, this one’s a treat, because Olivia and I *gasp* disagree.

Cam was pretty good! It has its issues, and I still find the protagonist profoundly exhausting to watch, but ultimately I think I came around on this one. It excels at building tension without resorting to cheap scare tactics, and it ultimately succeeds at making its audience wonder what they would do in the lead’s shoes. Or lingerie, more accurately.

And, like, am I the only one who thinks this movie makes camming look fun? You know, provided you’re not incredibly irresponsible with your safety lmao.
